Connectivity tips for Andorra
Install and test the eSIM over Wi-Fi before you leave home. There is no airport arrivals hall here to fix things in.
Check whether your home plan covers Andorra at all. Many EU and UK plans that include Spain and France do not, and the country is billed separately.

There is no Uber or Bolt in Andorra. Taxis are licensed and metered, and most are booked by phone or picked up at a rank. A data-only eSIM has no phone number, so ask your hotel or the restaurant to call one for you, or book the transfer in advance online.
Can you rely on free Wi-Fi?
Hotels, cafes, the shopping streets and the ski resort base stations mostly have free Wi-Fi, and in the towns it is decent. It stops being useful the moment you are on a lift, a trail, a mountain road or a border crossing, which is precisely where you want live traffic, weather and lift information. Wi-Fi in older village properties can also be thin on upper floors. Treat it as a bonus for big downloads, not as your connection plan.
Local SIM card or eSIM in Andorra?
Andorra Telecom sells prepaid tourist SIMs under its Mobiland brand, in its own shops in Andorra la Vella and Escaldes-Engordany and at some border and resort outlets. Because there is only one operator, there is no price competition and no second network to fall back on. Shops keep normal retail hours, often with a long lunch break and shorter Sunday opening, which does not help if you arrive late on a Friday ski transfer or only stay for a day's shopping.
