Does it cover the United States and Canada?
No. Those are on the North America plan, together with Mexico.
Does it work for a cruise or a Caribbean island?
In the covered countries, yes. For Caribbean islands, the app sells a separate Caribbean plan; at sea, ships use satellite networks that no eSIM covers.
How much data for a month across South America?
About 20 GB for maps, ride-hailing, messaging and photos; more if you stream or work remotely.
What is an eSIM?
